This is a good example of a wool enlisted mans forage cap. The cap is lined on the interior with cheesecloth and has a heavily worn oilcloth faux leather sweatband. Features the classic string closure eyelets to the back with closure string, but there is some tearing. There are two small kaji characters stamped near the back of the lining. The front features a lovely yellow wool five pointed imperial Japanese star
