This is a lovely WWI Memorial Plaque commemorating the life and service of Frederick John Tilbey, who was killed in action on April 27th, 1916, while serving as Acting Bombardier with the 134th Battery, 32nd Brigade, Royal Field Artillery. Tilbey was born in 1895, and enlisted in the Army very early, on August 23rd, 1914. His service number was 74175. He was the son Of John And Emily Tilbey of 106 Lancefield St.
