We can see some of the original etched writing on the right side of the blade

and most likely was added during the closing days of WWII

and a bit of distortion of the bell

This is an excellent example of a Medical Officer Model 1936 Feldbluse tunic and pants. This beautiful tunic is offered in very good condition. The tunic itself is made of a medium weight field gray green wool. The front closes with five aluminum pebbled buttons. The bullion Army breast eagle is stitched to the chest in a fashion typical of wartime German work. The eagle has some loss of bullion in two areas.
