This is a great example of a British Artillery supply chest from around the end of the 19th century. Officially listed as the CHEST, SUPPLY (Pack Artillery) MISCELLANEOUS No. 2, this chest measures 26" across X 10" deep X 17 1 2" wide, and is a very well constructed wood case complete with its green field finish. It is iron mounted with two closing hasps through which fixed leather straps pass to keep the lid closed.
