This is a very rare WWII U. S. M. C. Canteen set with both the early 1st Pattern cover with Durasnaps, and an exceedingly rare black porcelain canteen. These two items are ridiculously difficult to find on their own, let alone together like this. This example is named to marine Samuel U. Delp. The canteen cover is the very rare USMC 1st Pattern, with the Durasnaps still fully intact and working, although caution
