One of a Kind. This is a very rough but complete private purchased British Officers pith helmet in its original steel transit tin painted with the name R. P. Keith and an Elders & Fyffes, Limited of London train ticket with Direct Service to the West Indies & Central America. The helmet itself is heavily stained on the exterior, likely from the japanning of the interior of the case coming off onto the helmet, but we cannot say for sure.
