The tool simply clamps to the rear sprocket with the alignment rod pointing toward the front sprocket, the rod will indicate the sprockets alignment and the rear wheel can be adjusted until both sprockets align. Compatible with motorbikes and ATVs with a 420 630 chain. Indicates sprocket alignment
