Global warming and its disastrous effects can be prevented. Technically this is stunningly simple.
Just expose carbon dioxide to olivine, the ‘natural CO2 destructor’. The challenge lies in upscaling this natural, geological process. Such “return to nature and natural methods” has not often taken place in the short history of human mankind.
Possibly of crucial importance for the future of this planet.

*) Wikipedia:The mineral olivine (when gem-quality also called peridot) is a magnesium iron silicate with the formula (Mg,Fe)2SiO4. It is a common mineral in the Earth's subsurface but weathers quickly on the surface.
